About us

My wife Vicky and I and our two children, Lewis and Jade, moved to Attleborough in 1998. Lewis was 3 and Jade was aged 1. We fell in love with the town after several visits to family from our then home in Galleywood near Chelmsford.
I have been a Funeral Director in Attleborough and Wymondham now for almost 2 decades. I’ve worked for other local funeral companies, some big national concerns and a larger independent company. I am fully qualified and hold the National Association of Funeral Directors Diploma in Funeral Directing.

In 2013 Vicky and I decided it was the right time to open our own small, completely independent family run funeral home in Attleborough. And then due to demand we opened our funeral home in Wymondham, some 3 years later.

Our children are now young adults; they too are very involved with the business (arranging, administrating, accounts and general day to day running of the business etc.). Our parent’s have played important roles in the family business, Vicky’s mum Penny and my mum Rita were involved from day one. Sadly they are no longer with us but will be forever remembered. Vicky’s dad Alan, a retired Police officer of some 30 years is still active with us as a chauffeur/ bearer. And my dad Ken, we finally allowed to retire.

We have expanded our team to include Funeral Director Colin Sykes, Administrator Michael Butcher and Funeral Operative Andrew Ball, all of which are assets to our company. As a close run family business, we believe in looking after everyone’s loved one as if they are a member of our own family. With these values we provide the very best of care and focus on the needs of your family, at all times.

We pride ourselves on offering a personal and caring 24 hour service to the people of Attleborough, Wymondham and all the surrounding areas. We look after our families mainly from our general reputation and recommendation.
