Donations

Donation procedure

Sometimes families decide that they would like to receive donations in lieu flowers in memory of their loved one. As part of our professional services we are happy to administer donations on your behalf. We take the responsibility of handling any donations very seriously, we acknowledge each and every donation that is made, providing we have an address from the donator. We keep a record of all the names of the donators and when the money is forwarded to the chosen registered charity. We keep the record open for 5 weeks after the funeral has taken place, we then send you an acknowledgement letter that outlining the total amount collected with a full list of those who made a donation. Any correspondence we receive which may be of use to you will be sent as well.

We are also able to offer online donations. We have partnered with Memory Giving, who are able to take donations in memory via debit or credit card through their secure website. To make a donation & to view details of the funeral, please click the Memory Giving logo above.

Through the Memory Giving website you are able to Gift Aid your donation. This means that for every £1 you donate the charity can claim an extra 25p from the Government.

Please note that not every family wishes to receive donations through Memory Giving, we are always able to accept donations via cash or cheque.
